My sister has spent most of the last 50 years “not liking bananas”…it was her THING- she NEVER ate them. EVERYONE knew that about her. I was baffled a few weekends ago when she just calmly ate one and said she’d changed her mind…

Sorry but this is remarkable. Is she trolling you? Is she having a breakdown? I must know more.

The whole fam just stared at her. She just sort of nonchalantly performed banana eating. It happened in slow motion and we just froze! Everyone just went “sorry wait what” and she just said SHE CHANGED HER MIND. As I, her older sister who has held this to be irrefutable fact my whole life, lost mine…

I’ve ways loved walks. Gardening I thinking I’m loving that. Love having house plants—caring for them and propagating them. Inspiring to turn my apartment into one of those indoor jungles.

My version of Sexy Cat was called Curious Cat. She stalked and gawked at us for 9 years and now she lives with us (legitimately, I didn't steal her).

My list is:

Walking for fun

Pictures of attractive views without people in them

Running

Not drinking (as much). Turns out I don't really like it

Comfortable, stylish shoes

Not having takeaways

Watching spot on the TV (teenage me is really unhappy with that one)

Silence. I always used to like noise, I love music. However, there is nothing better than just being in complete silence.

Thoughts on the flavoured houmouses (houmii)? My sister works in a bakery/deli and they've just got some avocado houmous in stock, which is very nice 🥑

I've changed my mind about eating sugar. I used to shovel it down like there was no tomorrow. Bag of Tangfastics or a tub of Phish Food? Not a problem.

But now I have realised it makes me feel like shite and I worry about what that means it is doing to my poor body! So now I have become the parent who projects onto her child and I find myself restricting her sugar intake. Which she is not happy about, mirroring my 12 year old self!
